The ward controller is the control and communication unit for
a nurse call ward with wired room hubs and/or intercom units.
› It connects the AQURA back-end over IP.
› It functions as a SIP gateway for intercom, each intercom unit
is SIP addresseble.

› The module has a ward bus connecting all wired room hubs.

– Up to 2 simultaneous calls per ward
› Fallback mechanism for local ward mode in case the
wardcontroller gets isolated from the central system. Fallback
mode includes call forwarding according to DIN VDE0834
regulation.
